Sedation Dentistry
Relaxed. Judgment-free. Every visit.
Three Levels of Comfort

A Sedation Option for Every Patient

1
Nitrous Oxide
Also known as "laughing gas." You stay fully conscious but relaxed — and within minutes of the mask coming off, you can drive yourself home and go straight back to your day.
2
Oral Conscious Sedation
A small prescription pill taken before your visit. You'll feel deeply calm and drowsy, remember very little, and respond to questions — ideal for moderate anxiety or longer appointments. You'll need a ride home.
3
IV Sedation
Delivered by a board-certified anesthesia provider, IV sedation is our deepest option — perfect for severe anxiety, implant surgery, or full-mouth rehab done in a single visit. Most patients don't remember the procedure at all.
4
Personalized Consultation
Not sure which is right for you? Every sedation journey begins with a conversation — health history, medications, comfort preferences, procedure scope — so we build a plan that fits you exactly.

Sedation Dentistry FAQ

Is sedation dentistry safe?
Yes — when administered by trained dental professionals using modern monitoring equipment. We review your full medical history, vitals, and medications before every sedation visit, and adjust the plan accordingly. IV sedation is delivered by a separate board-certified anesthesia provider.
Will I be unconscious?
With nitrous oxide and oral sedation, no — you stay conscious and can respond. IV sedation is deeper; most patients have little to no memory of the procedure, but you are not under general anesthesia.
Can I drive myself home afterward?
After nitrous oxide, yes — the effects clear in minutes. After oral or IV sedation, absolutely not. You’ll need a responsible adult to drive you home and ideally stay with you for a few hours.
Does insurance cover sedation?
Some plans cover sedation when it’s medically necessary — often for longer surgical procedures. Our team verifies your specific benefits before your visit and gives you clear, upfront pricing with no surprises.
What if I’m pregnant or have a medical condition?
Most conditions are compatible with at least one sedation option. For pregnancy, heart conditions, respiratory issues, or complex medication lists, we start with a free consultation and coordinate with your physician where appropriate.
Can kids be sedated?
Nitrous oxide is often appropriate for anxious children during routine or longer appointments. Oral and IV sedation for children are handled case-by-case with parental discussion and careful medical screening.
